How to configure featured collection with compliance settings

Overview

Featured collections are typically showcased on the homepage and highlighted in key areas throughout a merchant’s site. Connecting a featured collection with compliance settings involves a manual step. While this step is not mandatory, it is crucial to understand that without it, your featured collection will not reflect Crush Suite's compliance settings. Configuring this correctly ensures your collections are compliant with regulations and provide accurate information to your customers.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Create a Collection

1. Access Collections: In your Shopify admin, click on Products and then select Collections.
2. Create a New Collection: Click on Create Collection and fill out the necessary details. Don’t forget to add products to this collection.

Step 2: Open the Shopify Customizer

1. Access the Customizer:
   • Click on Online Store in your Shopify admin, then select Themes and click Customize.

Step 3: Add a Section for Crush Suite Application

1. Add Section:
   • In the customizer, click on Add Section.
2. Select Crush Suite Featured Collection:
   • Navigate to Apps and select CS Featured Collection.
   • 
     
3. Repeat for All Collections:
   • You will need to repeat the above steps for each collection you want to feature on your home page.
     

Step 4: Save Your Changes

1. Save Updates:

   • After adding the Crush Suite Featured Collection section to all your collections, make sure to click Save to apply the changes.
