Overview
The Collection Page Compliance Settings allow you to customize how compliance information is displayed on your site’s collections page. This feature ensures customers are informed about whether they can purchase a product based on compliance data, improving clarity and user experience.
Customization Options
Cannot Purchase Message: Define the text displayed when a product is unavailable for purchase in the customer's shipping state.
Customize Indicator Color and Size: Personalize the appearance of compliance indicators to match your store's branding.
Product Indicator Position: Choose where to display compliance indicators within the collection page:
- Top left
- Top center
- Top right
- Bottom left
- Bottom center
- Bottom right

- Note: To preview changes, navigate to a collection page within the Shopify customizer window.
How to Customize Collection Page Compliance Settings
Access Theme Customization:
- In Shopify, click on your Theme and then click Customize.
Open App Embeds:
- Click on the App Embeds icon (the third icon on the left-side navigation bar).
Select Collection Page Compliance Embed:
- Find the Collection Page Compliance Settings embed (CS 4. Collection) and ensure it is turned on.
Customize Elements:
- Edit the "Cannot Purchase Message" to inform customers when a product is unavailable in their shipping state.
- Adjust the color and size of compliance indicators to align with your store’s design.
Choose Indicator Position:
- Select where compliance indicators should appear on the collection page: top left, top center, top right, bottom left, bottom center, or bottom right.
Preview and Save Changes:
- Navigate to a collection page within the customizer window to preview your customizations. Once satisfied, click Save to apply changes.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your collections page provides clear and compliant information to customers, enhancing their shopping experience and maintaining regulatory standards.
