Overview

The Main Crush Suite app embed is essential for enabling the full functionality of Crush Suite on your Shopify store. This embed must be activated to ensure that your customers can complete their checkout through a compliant portal. Additionally, it allows you to turn on or off your shipping button and customize it according to your branding and layout needs.

Shipping Button

Location

The shipping button is a floating icon featuring a map of the United States, providing a clear and intuitive interface for your customers. You can customize its position on your store to fit your design:

• Top Left
• Top Right
• Bottom Left
• Bottom Right

Functionality

The primary function of this button is to allow customers to change their shipping state. By clicking on this button, customers can update their shipping state, which in turn updates product availability in real-time.

Importance

This feature is crucial as it provides customers with visibility on which products are available for shipping to their location while they are browsing your store. Without the ability to update their shipping state, customers might proceed to checkout only to discover that a product cannot be shipped to their location, leading to a frustrating experience. By providing this functionality, you enhance the user experience and reduce the likelihood of abandoned carts due to shipping restrictions.

Customization Options

You have the flexibility to customize the shipping button to match your store's aesthetic and branding. Here are the available customization options:

1. Turn On/Off:
   • While we recommend keeping the floating button enabled for optimal user experience, you have the option to turn it off if it does not fit your design aesthetic. Even with the button turned off, customers will be prompted to select their state upon entering the website, but the floating button allows them to update their location as needed.
2. Color:
   • You can change the color of the floating button to align with your store's branding. This ensures that the button integrates seamlessly with your store's design.
3. Position:
   • You can change the position of the floating button to meet your design needs. Options include:
     • Top Left
     • Top Right
     • Bottom Left
     • Bottom Right

Important Note

This embed MUST be turned on to use Crush Suite within your store. Without this essential component, the Crush Suite functionalities will not be available, impacting your ability to maintain compliance and provide a seamless customer experience.

How to Enable and Customize the Main Crush Suite App Embed

1. Access Theme Customization:
   • In Shopify, click on your Theme and then click Customize.
2. Open App Embeds:
   • Click on the App Embeds icon (the third icon on the left-side navigation bar).
3. Enable Main Crush Suite Embed:
   • Find the Main Crush Suite app embed (CS 1. Main) and ensure it is turned on.
4. Customize the Shipping Button:
   • Configure the shipping button by adjusting its color, position, and toggling its visibility according to your preferences.
5. Save Changes:
   • After enabling and customizing the main app embed, click Save.
