App Embed #3: Product Page Compliance Settings

Overview

The Product Page Compliance Settings embed allows you to customize how compliance information is displayed on your product pages. This feature ensures customers are informed about whether they can purchase a product based on compliance data, providing a seamless shopping experience.

Customization Options

Cannot Purchase Message

• Message Text: Customize the message displayed when a product cannot be shipped to the customer's state. For example, “Shipping unavailable to your state.”

Toggle Display States You Can Ship To

• Enable/Disable: Choose whether to display a list of states where shipping is available.

Shipping States Position

• Position Options:
  • Under the 'Add to Cart' button
  • Under the main product section
  • Above the main product section

Viewing Customizations

• Note: To see changes to the customizations, navigate to a product page within the Shopify customizer window.

How to Customize Product Page Compliance Settings

1. Access Theme Customization:
   • In Shopify, click on your Theme and then click Customize.
2. Open App Embeds:
   • Click on the App Embeds icon (the third icon on the left-side navigation bar).
3. Select Product Page Compliance Embed:
   • Find the Product Page Compliance Settings embed (CS 3. Product Page) and ensure it is turned on.
4. Customize Elements:
   • Adjust the "Cannot Purchase Message" to display a relevant notice when a product cannot be shipped to the customer's state.
   • Toggle on/off the display of states you can ship to.
   • Choose the position for displaying shipping states: under the 'Add to Cart' button, under the main section, or above the main section.
5. Preview Changes:
   • Navigate to a product page within the customizer window to view changes and ensure everything is displayed as desired.
6. Save Changes:
   • After customizing the settings, click Save to apply your changes.
