When updating products, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you make updates directly in Vinoshipper to ensure product information accuracy. Vinoshipper is the central location for updating quantities, prices, SKUs, etc.
Steps to Update Product Information
Step 1: Update in Vinoshipper
- Log in to Vinoshipper:
- Access your Vinoshipper merchant account.
- Go to Your Product:
- Locate the product you want to update.
- Update Product Information:
- Modify all necessary information such as quantity, price, SKU, etc.
Step 2: Sync with Crush Suite
- Open Crush Suite Application:
- Log in to your Shopify store and open the Crush Suite application.
- Navigate to Products:
- Click on “Products” in the navigation menu.
- Click Sync:
- Click the “Sync” button at the top of the page to update the product information in Shopify.
What Product Information Can I Change?
- Product Image: Update the visual representation of your product.
- Product Details: Modify descriptions and other details.
- SEO Listing: Adjust SEO attributes for better search engine visibility.
- Tags: Add or modify product tags for better organization.
What NOT to Edit in Shopify for Products
- Product Name: Avoid changing the product name directly in Shopify.
- Product SKU: Do not modify the SKU in Shopify.
- Product Metadata: Such as alcohol percentage, size, etc.
- Product Status: Keep the product status changes in Vinoshipper.
- Product Inventory/Quantity: Always update quantities in Vinoshipper.
How to Add Additional Product Requirements (ABV & Bottle Size)
If you are using Vinoshipper as your compliance provider, product requirements will be automatically added to your products. If you are managing compliance yourself, follow the steps below:
- From Crush Suite Dashboard:
- Open the Crush Suite application.
- Click on Products:
- Navigate to the product you want to update.
- Update Product Information:
- Modify details such as minimum order requirement, ML, ABV, and vintage.
- Click Save:
- Ensure all updates are saved.
